Floor made of 100% recycled rubber.
Advantages of the floor made of 100% recycled rubber:
- It is an anti-vibration floor, ideal for any type of training or other intense use.
- It is a non-slip floor.
- It provides great stability during use.
- It ensures the protection of the equipment that stands on the floor, ensuring its stability and proper functioning.
- It provides sound insulation in the space.
- It protects the floor of the building from damage.
- It has very high durability and resistance to daily and intense stress.
- Its resistance to time is very high and its life lasts for many years.
- It consists of materials that do not pose a risk to health.
- It is easily installed and without glue.
- It is lightweight. Each square meter weighs 18 kilograms.
What is the "cold process" of floor construction:
The cold process is an innovative method followed by BEKA specifically for floors made of recycled material intended for indoor use. The usual floors that are in circulation join the raw material (the rubber pieces) by heating them in order to glue them.
- The cold process involves multiple cutting, washing and removal of any irrelevant substance that the primary materials may contain, in order to create the rubber floor with very small grains. The smaller the grains of the floor, the more stability and anti-vibration protection the material provides during its use.
- Unlike hot gluing which has a 1% tolerance in dimensions (i.e. in 1m², 1cm in size and 2mm in height) cold gluing has 0.05%, i.e. 20 times smaller.
- The cold process meets 100% EU requirements for less air pollution, unlike the hot gluing process.
The advantages of the cold process:
- Due to the creation of the floor with the “cold process”, there are no differences in the dimensions of the tiles and there are no fluctuations in their thickness.
- The small size of the floor grains contributes to the protection of the equipment that stands on the floor and the prevention of wear and tear or deformation of the equipment.
- The BEFIT PRO floor maintains its shape and size intact and uniform, without the risk of creating uneven ground.
- During the cold process, a special, superior quality adhesive is used to bond the grains that make up the floor. The quality of this special adhesive ensures that the air around the floor is not harmful. In this way, in addition to health, approval from any ISO quality control is also ensured.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE
Cleaning your rubber floor is essential to prevent odors and dirt buildup. Although rubber flooring is very durable, if it is not cleaned regularly, in addition to its aesthetic appearance, it can lose some of its properties and suffer permanent damage. Whether it is a roll or a tile, for ideal cleaning and maintenance, follow the basic recommendations below.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES:
It is important to keep the floor clean. That is why we recommend adopting a cleaning and storage area for shoes next to the entrance. Before you start cleaning the floor, sweep the floor thoroughly to remove any solid particles that could damage the floor finish.
CLEANING PROCEDURE:
The frequency of cleaning depends on the use. For example, a gym should be cleaned daily, with a deep cleaning once a month.
A combination of water and a mild detergent is sufficient to keep the rubber floor in good condition. Avoid any cleaning products or chemicals that are too acidic or alkaline, as they will damage the rubber surface. Do not use products containing turpentine or other solvents. In general, do not use products based on gasoline, solvents or chlorine. All cleaning products should be used strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Make sure that any mats, rugs, bins or other objects placed on the floor are suitable for use on rubber floors.
CLEANING:
-
Immediately after installation, ventilate the area to remove rubber and glue odors. Regular ventilation is recommended.
-
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove all residue from the installation of the floor (initial cleaning) and generally vacuum up all debris and dirt (subsequent cleanings).
-
Brush the surface using an ecological, PH-neutral cleaning solution designed for cleaning rubber floors, diluted in 4 liters of clean water, always following the manufacturer's instructions. The recommended amount of cleaner is as follows:
-
Initial cleaning: 70ml | Regular cleaning: 50 ml | Deep cleaning: 110ml
-
-
Using a well-wrung cotton mop, clean the surface, avoiding soaking the floor.
-
Rinse with clean water using a wrung mop, making sure to wipe away any moisture. If the floor remains wet, water will penetrate the floor, resulting in unwanted odors. The use of clean water is mandatory.
-
Allow to dry (2-4 hours) before walking on it.
Clean floors using vacuum cleaners, hand brooms, mops or soft brushes and sponges.
NEVER USE
pressure washers and floor cleaning machines as they will cause irreparable damage.
